ChatGPT plugin and AI assistant troubleshooting
Lernoa is in ChatGPT's plugin directory, and connects to Claude and other MCP-compatible AI assistants through a server at https://mcp.lernoa.com. See the full details on the Lernoa in ChatGPT page. Common issues:
You cannot find Lernoa in ChatGPT
Open Plugins in ChatGPT on the web or in the desktop app and search for Lernoa. On a work or school account, your administrator may need to make it available first.
The assistant cannot connect or asks you to sign in again
Make sure you are signing in with the same Lernoa account you normally use, and that your Lernoa session has not expired. Try connecting again from the assistant.
The assistant cannot see your decks or courses
Confirm it is connected to the correct Lernoa account, since it only ever sees the account you approved on the consent screen.
A generation tool reports insufficient credits
AI generation through the plugin spends the same credit balance as the Lernoa app. You can check your balance in Settings, and add credits from within the Lernoa app; the plugin itself has no purchase or checkout tool.

Disconnecting an AI assistant (OAuth)

In Lernoa
Sign in to the app, open Settings, then "Connected AI apps". Select Disconnect next to the assistant you want to remove.

In the AI assistant
Most assistants, including ChatGPT, let you remove a connected app from their own connected-apps or integrations settings.
Disconnecting takes effect immediately and does not delete your Lernoa account or any of your content.
Account, security and other requests
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your Lernoa account and all of your data, including decks, courses and documents, from Settings inside the app (Settings, then Data, then Delete account). This is separate from disconnecting an AI assistant: disconnecting removes only that assistant's access, while deleting your account removes everything. See our Privacy Policy for what is retained and for how long after deletion.
Security reports
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in Lernoa or the ChatGPT plugin, email [email protected] with the details. See /.well-known/security.txt for our published security contact.
Privacy requests
For questions about your personal information, or to make a privacy request, email [email protected] or see our Privacy Policy.
Copyright and takedown requests
To report a copyright concern about content stored in a Lernoa account, for example a document uploaded without permission, email [email protected] with "Copyright" in the subject line, a description of the work, and the specific content location if you know it. We will review the request and take appropriate action, which can include removing the content.
Accessibility
If you run into an accessibility barrier using Lernoa, email [email protected] and tell us what you were trying to do and what happened. We look into every report.
Supported countries and languages
Lernoa is available to use from anywhere. The website and app are available in English, Spanish, German, French, Arabic and Chinese. Support correspondence is handled in English.
Status and incidents
Lernoa does not currently run a public status page. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify affected users by email in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
