How the exam works
- Single-answer, multiple-answer and true or false questions.

Frequently asked questions
Which courses can earn a certificate?
Courses that Lernoa’s AI built for you, from a topic, a document or a learning path. Imported, hand-written and certification prep courses cannot. You can edit your course. The rules are checked when you start the exam.
How long does a course need to be?
At least 2 hours of estimated study time, about 5 chapters or more. The certificate shows the course length, so anyone can judge its weight.
How is study time counted?
Only active time counts: reading, chapter quizzes and listening. An open tab does not add up. You need at least half the estimated study time, and the course page shows how much is left.
What is the exam like?
20 to 30 questions covering every chapter, written new from your course each time. You get 90 seconds a question, and at the end you see the right answers with explanations.
What if I do not pass?
Try again, free, after 24 hours, with new questions. After three attempts that did not pass, the wait is 14 days. Your results show which chapters to study again.
Is it an accredited qualification?
No. It is for a self-paced course built with Lernoa AI and an online exam taken without supervision. It is independent of any vendor or exam body, and its page says so.
Who can verify my certificate?
Anyone with its ID or QR code, from the day it is issued. They see the certificate, who earned it and what it took. You can switch verification off at any time.
Can I change the name on it?
You confirm the name when the certificate is issued, and then it is fixed. For a typo, contact support through Help & support in the app.
Does it expire?
No. It shows the date it was issued. Lernoa can withdraw a certificate obtained by misuse, and its page then says so.
