Yes, and it is free. Every course chapter and quiz question can be read aloud in a natural AI voice (not the robotic kind), with read-along highlighting, adjustable speed and lock-screen controls. Narration works in 19 languages; a chapter’s audio is prepared the first time you press Listen and plays instantly ever after.

Everything except AI generation is free, reading, quizzing, chatting with and listening to your courses, building and importing decks, the full spaced-repetition engine, cross-device sync, every study mode, stats and reminders. Generating with AI, course chapters or decks, uses credits. New accounts get 5 free credits, plus a limited-time bonus of 25 credits that is valid for 30 days.

At Standard quality, 1 credit builds 1 course chapter (courses run 3–8 chapters), or 1 deck of up to 25 cards. Lite uses about half as many credits per chapter; Premium and Frontier use 1.5 and 2 times as many, and unlock with your first credit pack. The app shows the exact cost before you build. Packs start at NZ$3 for 15 credits, GST included. Credits never expire, and there is no subscription.

Courses come out structured for memory, nutshell summaries, analogies, key points, with quizzes graded on the server so answers can’t leak early. Decks are clear question-and-answer cards at the level you choose. Powered by AWS Bedrock; a strong starting point, not gospel, everything stays editable and fully yours.

Yes. You can import Anki decks and plain CSV files in seconds, with no re-typing, and export your decks any time. There is no lock-in, and importing and exporting are always free.

Yes, free. Study on your laptop between classes and your phone on the bus, your courses, decks, schedule and progress stay in sync everywhere. Lernoa installs as a web app (PWA), so there is no app store needed; just add it to your home screen.

After each card you rate how well you knew it. Lernoa schedules the next review for just before you would forget, and the interval stretches as a card sticks. Cards you have mastered retire from rotation, and ones you keep missing come back sooner, so your time goes where it is needed. It is the same evidence-based method behind Anki.

Yes. Your documents, courses, decks and study history are yours, we do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train AI models. Data is stored in New Zealand and Australia (AWS), and you can export or delete everything in one tap.

Neither. Credit packs are one-off purchases, nothing auto-renews, and credits never expire. Buy a pack this semester and any leftovers are still there next year.
